How do online pageants work?

I have never actually heard of an online pageant, but i am not at all surprised that they do exist. In my opinion an online pageant is not to be trusted. It really does sound like a scam to me, especially if they ask for an entry fee, or any other form of money to partcipate.

To avoid hassles of travelling,paying high entrance fee and purchasing expensive dress, you can enter online pageants. Just have to send photos online and a small fee through paypal.

Most online pageants you have to send the pictures or what ever they tell you to send video pictures etc. then they will either email you back or get back in contact with you. They are kind of the same as normal ones only that your not face to face with everyone.
