You must immobilize the toe and you can use ice to counteract the swelling. This will take weeks to resolve and avoid home remedies of pulling on the toe. This will only damage the soft tissue. If the condition persists or the pain is unbearable you should have the toe x-rayed to check for a fracture.

A jammed or toe can be treated with ice to reduce swelling and relieve muscle and take an anti-inflammatory. Don't wear tight shoes for a while.

Wait, be patient, put ice packs on it during the first few days for 20 minutes at a time every two to four hours, take ibuprofen if it isn't contraindicated.

first use ice and elevate toe for few minutes a day until you get relief. or else use ibuprofen for pain relief or use athletic tape if you have the pain for more than 15 days ,just go and contact your doctor and take an x-Ray and get relief by the proper treatment
