How do I take off the backing of my cartilage piercing if the stud is digging into my skin?

If you can't reach the cartilage piercing, I would try asking someone for help. Do you have a friend or family member you can call? If the skin is starting to grow around the stud, I recommend going back to where it was pierced and having a professional help you remove it.

You can place a tooth pick that is rounded off underneath it. This should help you get a grip on it. Or find someone with smaller fingers.
