If i was going to scrap my car i would bring it to the scrapyard, they will pay the most money. Otherwise you could just bring it to a junkyard. If you have someone come pick it up from the scrapyard you wont get any money, you need to bring it yourself if you want to get paid.

The easiest way to scrap a car is to call your local junkyard. They will usually even come and pick it up, putting cash in your hand. To find your local junkyard, check the auto recycling section of your local phonebook.

Some scrap yard will tow the car, others want the car towed to them. Look in the phone bood for scrap car dealers.

Then simply take it there and do the necessary paperwork. Some places will give you a set amount where other pay by the pound.
