You can attempt to retrieve the deleted folder by first looking in the recycle bin found on the desktop. Double click the the recycle bin, it will show all files and folders available for recovery. Right click on the file and click restore. Alternately you can just drag the file to your desktop.

The folder should be in your Recycle Bin, which is always on your desktop. You go in there, find the folder, and click "Restore". If there are no files in there, you are out of luck because that means they were permanently deleted from your system.

These files will typically be in the "Recycle Bin" unless they were deleted as part of a virus scan. Go to the "Recycle Bin" by clicking on the desk top icon for it. Then scroll down to the folder. Click it to select it. Then select "Restore". This will restore the folder to its original location.
