How do I replace the starter on a Cavalier?

Jack up the front left quarter of the car so you have access to the starter box. Unscrew the metal plating and detatch the starter. Snap the new one in.

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the air inlet duct from the throttle body.Remove the two bolts on the stall the new starter motor into the throttle body.
