Sealed beam headlights generally do not have casings that can be replaced. If you have an H3/H4 type bulb, then just get a new casing from a junkyard or dealer, and it's usually a simple bolt-on affair.

This will differ from car to car. Your owners manual may detail how this is accessed but if it does not, A haynes-style aftermarket manual may have step by step instructions. Failing this, take your car to a professional dealer to have it dealt with. It is often illegal to drive without two functioning headlights so take caution.

Disconnect the battery. Remove the air cleaner top piece of the headlight component. Unscrew the headlight casing. Disconnect headlight wires. Connect the new bulb.

Depending on the car it can be really is or really difficult. Open the hood and look for the hardware that hold in the headline housing. Sometimes the bumper needs to be removed to access these bolts or screws. Then remove the bulb sockets from the housing and remove the housing. Swap in the new one and reverse the process.

You are going to need to take the hood up and you will see the 3 bolts holding the head light casing on and you just take those out.

Depending on what model of car you own it can vary. Usually you will be able to find some screws holding the casing in place if you pop the hood.

For replacing headlight casing you need a screw driver. Unscrew the screws on the front grill. It may be on top or side. After that you can simply replace casing.

Vehicle models vary however most are very similar. Look at the top and sides of the casing with the hood open. You will see pins that lock it into position.

You should take in in to have it replaced. Or go to the auto parts store and get a manual on it. Tell them the make and model of the car.
