How do I replace a clutch start switch?

I have a Chevy.

You will need to get a new switch, preferably from the junkyard (about $20. 00). Take the old starter switch out (remove dash board) and it unpluggs easily. Then pop the new one in.

you look under the dash on the driver side behind the clutch pedal there will be a plastic black button with a bolt or 2 in it an has a wire plugg take off wire plug and bolts then bolt the new part in and plug the wires back in

most of them just push in to place some have a couple jam nuts but ethier way it will be on the top of the peddal under the dash kindda like the stop light switch

you simply pop out the instrument panel. and unhook the switch from the plug. then pop the switch out of the instrument panel. and pop the new one in.

When you need to reaplce the clutch start on your your Chevy you will need to get under the hood. Once under teh hood the clutch start is located near the clutch.
