There is no easy way to repair an intake boot, the best way is simply to replace the boot entirely. If you don't feel comfortable changing out the intake boot by yourself you should consult a mechanic or take your car up to a licensed auto shop or your local dealership.

Well depending on the damage it is probably better to just replace the whole thing rather than try and repair it. Contact junkyards or a dealer to find a replacement.

There is no really good way to repair an intake boot. You could try different sealents that are sensor safe. Or you could try duct tape or electrical tape but chances are it will not be air tight I would recommend replacing it. You could even just go to a junkyard and find one for cheap

There isn't a lot you can do if it is damaged. There is no material that I know of that can be used to permanently patch it. Just replace it.

Get some duct tape and apply it and make sure its not air tight. Get different sealents that are safe that are safe to use to see would that work. If that solution doesn't do it. See if an auto part store have a manual, Go to a dealer or junkyard that will have reasonable cheap prices to repair problem.

Check for the pliability of the boot,if old it will look like tire. Check for the holes and tight the clamp screws on the hoses from the air filter. Use auto duct tape to repair any damage or air leaks. Check the intake boot regularly while changing oil.

The intake is going to be connected to the air filter box and is very easy to replace for the basic do-it-yourself mechanic.
