First, apply ice to area, then take sharp knife and scrape what you can get off. Using Goo Gone, a commercial product, apply to area following directions. WD 40 will also help break it down and cleanup process. Also, you can place brown paper bag on area and iron over.

The simplest way to do this is to freeze the crayon from the fabric, by placing a large back of ice upon the stain. Then the crayon will chip off.

Remove crayons from fabric by useing a hair dryer to warm the crayon, and gently scrape the crayon away, then use a terry cloth to soak up the residue.

Try a warm iron with a paper towel between the iron and the upholstery. Warming the wax and the paper towel will absorb most of it. Use a butter knife to scrape away any that may be not absorbed into the upholstery before starting with the iron and paper towel.
