First disconnect the A/C lines to get the orifice valve. Need AC line disconnect tool to disconnect the A/C lines. The couplings are so hard to remove. You can get this tool at any auto parts store

You will need to find the lines that go from the A/C coil to the dash. Remove them. Also disable the A/C coil if you aren't using it.

Take it to a shop to have it professionaly drained. Releasing a/c coolant into the air is very bad and illegal. Then unbolt the lines from the compressr, then follow them to the condensor and unbolt them from it. It is very simple, you just don't want to release the gas.

Before you do any work on the A/C lines you must first open the system so that the pressure can be allowed to escape. After that you will need to disconnect power to the system for safety purpsoes. Use a wrench to remove the lines from the condenser unit and also the Air box.

To replace the A/C lines on your Jeep you are going to have to take off your dash. Once the dash is off you can remove the lines.
