How do I remove a 1994 Chevy Silverado starter?

The starter is going to be hooked up to the motor on the side with a bolt running into the transmission and two in the motor. Just take them out.

First remove the battery cables from the battery of the truck. Locate the starter, check the bell-housing on the transmission is the usual locale. Remove wires running into bendix and three or four bolts that are holding it into place. Give a slight wiggle starter should come free.

The starter motor in your 1994 Chevy S10 pickup spins the engine using electrical power from the battery to build compression in the engine. If the starter in your S10 is dragging or making noise, removing the starter and testing it is the best starting point.

The starter is going to be on the right hand side of the motor and it should have three bolts in it with one going into the transmission.

look under the truck and attached to the transmission you'll see the starter, removal all wiring attached to it i.e. red wire (power or hot) black smaller wire (ground) then grab a ratchet and remove the two bolts that sucure the start to the transmission, once done pull straight out and
