The best thing you can do is make sure to keep your child's ears clean. If your child goes swimming make sure to give them earplugs because having lots of water in the ears can cause infection.

Keep your child's ears clean and dry. Consider fitted earplugs for swimming and even bathing if they're really prone. Also don't hesitate to use over-the-counter medication if they're stuffed up.

Best idea, do not go swimming in lakes and stream during the summer. They can contain bacteria that cause ear infections. Stay in a swimming pool instead that you can maintain water cleanliness.

an ear infection is caused by a virus. In order to prevent your child from getting an ear infection you must keep that child away from the virus that could possibly get in the ear and causes the infection.
