Take it a little at a time. Boys are generally fully trained later than girls. Encourage him to use the potty. Have him tell you when he needs to go to the bathroom. When he does rush him to the toilet. After he eats or drinks a lot you should take him to the potty.

Make potty training a normal event. If you put too much pressure on him, he will get scared and not use the potty. Introduce the potty slowly by just using it in the morning first. Try to have him go commando often. Accidents will happen but it will get better.

Create a signal for your two year old to show you when he/she has to go, like a thumbs up. Reward and track progress with stickers on a calendar.

Provide an incentive. Some toddlers like stickers, others a small snack. Try and make it fun to keep his interest. If he resists, wait a few weeks and try again.
