All utilities need to be turned off and disconnected. Make sure the wheels are still under the home and make sure they are not flat. Make sure the hitch on the front of the home is still intact. You need sufficient room to move it around trees, wires and poles.
Mobile homes are not as mobile as their name suggests. Generally, mobile homes are taken to their location by truck and then hooked up to water, electricity etc. If you want to move one that has already been placed, youll probably need to contact a company that specializes in that.
You need to disconnect everything under the mobile home first. Plumbing, and electrical all needs to be disconnected. Then you need to put the home on a tow hitch.
I would move a mobile home by first attaching it to a truck or any type of heavy duty vehicle. Once the mobile home is attached and is on wheels, it can be moved.
