How do I measure a 30 degree angle?

The easiest way to measure a thirty degree angle is with a compass. However, if one is not available, you can also measure out a ninety degree angle, which is easy to do by sight, as it's a standard right angle, and then divide this into three equal parts. Each part would be a thirty degree angle.

The easiest way to measure a 30 degree angle is to use a set square with 30, 60 and 90 degree corners. Or you can use a protractor.

Since you already know you have a 30 degree angle it seems pointless to measure it. If you want to create a 30 degree angle draw a 1 foot line then use a square and draw a 0. 577350269 foot line perpendicular to one end. Draw a third line to connect the ends which creates a triangle with 30,60,90 degree angles
