How do I make sure my wife respects me?

You need to talk to her and tell her how you really feel. Listen to her concerns and ask her what does she need from you. Talk to her nicely and tell her that you want her to respect you more than she already does. And if she does not want to comply, tell her that you need some space.

a) Do not pity yourself. b) Do any work you do as good as you can do. c) Be proud of what your accomplish. d) It's still your wife, no? You're not separated nor divorced which would be the case if she had no respect.

Surely before you became a house-husband you had a thorough discussion about this decision with your wife. There must have been some pretty substantial reasons why this became the arrangement. If you are feeling, "less than" and disrespected, start the conversation so you can change this feeling you have. Go back to the original decisions that led to now.
