Bake three separate cakes. Once they are all done you stack them on top of each other with icing in the middle of each layer and ice the outside. decorate the outside if you want to and its done. You can also look at cake making tips from videos found on youtube. Hope that works for you!

Use three same size cake pans, round or square. Bake, put one tier on a plate, frost, put another tier on, frost, put third tier on, frost all over.

You make 3 separate fruit cakes, ice them, decorate, and stack them, if you want to be traditional. Lots of people make the lower layer as a sponge cake, because people like it better - omit the marzipan if you do this, and assemble at the last minute.
