First, search for a source using words like "online Bible" or "online Bible concordance." If the translation is important, include that in the search, too. The reference sites usually offer multiple search paths, so you don't necessarily need to know chapter and verse to find the information.

This can be easy to do, if you're clear on your citation. First step is VERY SIMPLY quote what you are looking for. Then you'll have to weed out your hits. Good news is, there is TONS of Biblical information online, Bad news is, you'll get more than you need.

You can use Google or Goodsearch or Yahoo to find online Bible information. Start by searching online Bible, Bible dictionary, Bible commentary, or input specific Bible references. Also there are companies and organizations that provide online Bible reference information. I use organizations like Crosswalk and Blueletter Bible to get a lot of good online reference information.
