The clarinet is a complex instrument with that can play a variety of notes depending ont he skill of the player. To learn the instrument you can either take lessons or get one of th emany different learn to play on your own books out there. your local music store can help you with either option.

Most of the music instrument books show you how to determine the notes and how to play them. There are also online guides and lessons.

The easiest way is through a method book, but there are sites on the internet that will show you a fingering chart for the clarinet.
