How do I know if my tattoo has healed?

I got a tattoo a week ago and would like to show it off.

It should take about 3 to 4 days to heal up, maybe a little longer if it is very large. You can tell when it is healed because it will not be bleeding any more and the scab will be gone. Though it may feel a little funny for a while as the skin stretches out.

A tattoo is healed after the skin has stopped peeling off of it and it has scabbed. The scabbing may be subtle and not very noticeable, but it will cause the tattoo to itch, so you'll know it is happening. When that subsides, it should be fully healed.

If you keep it moisturized & dont pick or scratch it, it should be fine within a week. but follow the directions your tattoo artist gave u.

The easy answer is when all the skin cells are gone. For the skin cells to clear out rapidly depends on how big is the tattoo and where it is. If you keep your tattoo moisturized it should heal fast, but remember not to scratch because you may damage your tattoo. As of showing it off, you already can.

Your new tattoo should begin scabbing up in a day or two. Do not pick off the scabs. When all the scabs have fallen off your tattoo is healed.
