The most obvious signs of a fuel leak on a Buick LeSabre are fuel residue on the ground and the smell of fuel inside the passenger compartment during operation.

If your car has a fuel line leak, you'll be able to tell by doing a pressure test on the fuel line system. Compress the lines with air to hear/see leaks. There will also be gas under your car when parked or stopped.

Well usually it is pretty easy to find a fuel leak. The smell of fuel is a very good sign you have a leak. You could simply follow the line from the engine to the pump to see if you had a leak while the pump was on. Otherwise install a pressure language and see if it right.
