When there are two hard drives in a computer once needs to be labelled as master and the other as slave. Power off the computer and carefully remove the cables connected and open up the casing. New hard drive needs to be secured in the mounting bay using the screws.

Really it is no harder than installing a single drive. You will need to connect the data cable and power up to the new hard drive after you have securely mounted it inside the case. The you set the jumper or switch on the new drive to slave meaning that it is second in rank to the original drive.

Two hard drives can be installed in one computer by opening the cabinet of the Central Processing Unit and then fixing the two hard drives with two seperate wires therein.
