How do I install tile on a crawl space foundation?

A crawl foundation would have nothing to do with your tile installation. Install the mortar and set the tile like you would on any job. Let it dry and then add the grout. Let the grout set up for 5-10 minutes and then wipe off the excess grout.

Ceramic tile might weigh too much for a crawl space foundation. Vinyl tile should be installed the same way on any foundation. Floor should be prepared to accept tile adhesive.

If you are wanting to install this type of tile on your foundation then you will have to get a sealer first.
