Typical thresholds are installed after the installtion of the floor. Make sure the area is clean before starting. Apply mastic or thinset to both the floor and the back of the threshold. Insert the threshold into the desired location and press firmly insuring a solid bod between substrate and threshold. Grout or caulk to finish.
