Firstly see a qualified Medical Practitioner to have the condition diagnosed. The"knot"could be a tumor or a hernia in your abdominal wall or some other condition inside your abdomen. If you are experiencing some kind of localized spasm or cramp in the muscle this may respond to massage or physiotherapy but it would be foolish to assume this without a check-up.

Sitting in a warm bath may do the trick. You could also take a couple of aspirin and/or place a heating pad on your abdomen until the knot loosens.

Gentle circular massaging of the area can help to get rid of the knot. It also should help to apply a heating pad to the area.

It sounds like you may have a hernia. Your doctor can diagnose a hernia by examining you. If it doesn't go away soon, see your doctor.

You can massage the heck out of it! That will alleviate it immediately. You may also want to take some anti inflammatories like Advil or Aleeve. If the knot is in your lower RIGHT abdomen seek medical help immediately, this could be your appendix. This can be very serious if you let it go too long.

You need to have it checked out by your doctor, it could be something serious, don't wait too long though. Always have stuff checked out by your doctor, the doctor can help get you better. It could be anything wrong with you. You need to have your doctor run test to see what it is.
