Make sure that you place a green wire onto the metal part of the dishwasher. Connect that green wire to the ground lug on the three pronged plug which is the round prong. then make sure the outlet allows three pronged plugs if not change it.

Take a wire one end is terminated on the body of dishwasher and another end should connected to the ground.

Usually where your 14-2 wire comes through the case there is a ground screw in there to tap to. If there isn't, use a ground clip if your worried.
