Hey you should be okay with your blister beetle sting. They aren't dangerous and actually they usually don't bite. You might itch for a couple of days but you could treat that with an anti-itch creme or spray that you can get at your local drug store.

Whoever thinks they don't bite should be bitten by one the pain is similar to a scorpion, however if they only leave fluid on the skin then blisters usually develop. Some types are more toxic than others so the effects will vary.  add a comment

I read somewhere that Blister Beetles were given that name because they leave blisters when they sting. You should maybe try some ointment that has cortisone in it and if it doesn't improve within a few days give your doctor a call just to be on the safe side.

Reminds me of red ants. They leave those nasty pustules when they sting and do they ever hurt! Sometimes if someone is allergic they actually need to get some antibiotics to help.  add a comment

There are about 2500 types of blister beetles and many of them have different effects on the body so I can't give you a definitive answer. What I do know is that unless you have an allergic reaction to the bite it should go away in a few days.

It goes after few days, if you have an allergy or it lasts for a week ,see doctor. Blister beetle stings aren't dangerous, if the poison is ingested orally.
