First put your key into the ignition. Then turn key to unlock position. Next turn to lock and then unlock again. This should insure the alarm is disabled. You may have to take your vehicle to a near by toyota dealership to reset the anti-theft system. They will be able to tell you if the system is on and working correctly or not.

If the battery was completely dead then your anti-theft system will automatically reset once a fully charged battery is connected. It defaults by setting off the alarm. You have to either use the push button inside to turn it off or your remote.

You will need the anti-theft code so that it can be reentered. If you do not have it you should contact the manufacturer for advice.
