If it has a mechanical pump than the fuel line can be drained and the pump unbolted from the engine and replace. If it is a newer model with fuel injection, the pressure in the line must be released by shutting the pump off and running the engine out of gas. Than the pump can be replaced inside the tank.

You are going to need to drain your gas tank into cans. Then you can take the straps off and pull the gas tank down. You are then going to need to take the cap off and the pump will be there.

First remove the bed and gas tank because fuel pump is on it. After take tank off, you loosen there are 6 bolts in pump. After release the bolt, you lift the pump and replace with new one.

The fuel pump is located within the gas tank. You will have to empty all of the gas from the tank, remove the tank straps while taking care not to drop the tank, lower slightly and disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connector, remove the tank completely. The pump will be visible and ready to replace.
