You don't. NEVER pressure wash an engine, it can cause damage to the engine itself. Getting your distributor wet, or your spark plug wires can seriously damage your engine. The best bet for cleaning your engine would be to degrease it. I suggest a simple green, or washing powder mix.

I would stay completely away from any wiring when doing this. Water can get into the wiring harness, spark plug galleys, and even the coils causing major damage. If you go through with this I would use a engine degreaser andsteam clean it. Hand wipe down all electronics like the coils, control modules, and wiring harnesses.

All you have to do is go to the car wash and set the dial to pressure wash then open the hood and wash the engine.

You shouldn't go about doing this. You could do serious damage to the car, damage wiring, or damage the engine.

You can wash the motor with one of the hand car washes that you pull through. Just turn the motor off and put egine degreaser in it and then wash it off with soap.

Get a sponge and put soap on it and wipe the engine and engine bay down with it. Then just blast away with the pressure washer. Dry it afterwords.
