First you need to purchase a dehydrater. There is a cookbook with recipes for making all kinds of jerky. You will use the best cuts of beef to keep it tender. This takes a few days to make in the dehydrater and it does smell up the house. So keep that in mind.

Begin by slicing up some meat ans letting it marinate. Then arrange the meat in a food dehydrater and dehydrate it. Various marinade recipes can be found online.

Jerky is just dried up spiced meat. You're looking for thin slices of meat (think carne asada), rub with spices, and put in a dehydrator. Recipes can be found online.

get some lean steak and marinate in soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce with what ever seasoning you like, thinly slice the steak with the grain and cover it with the marinade. cover in the fridge for atleast 24 hours. preheat over to 160/180 degrees, lay your meat on rack, cook till there is nothing driping from meat, 4 1/2 hours

The first step is purchase a food dehydrator. These can be found online and in most major department stores ranging from 20 to 1000 dollars. Purchase the meat you would like to make jerky out of, marinade it, cut it in thin strips, season it, lay it in the dehydrator and wait the number of hours listed in the instructions.
