This plant likes bright indirect light. If the leaves get brown spots the location is too warm and it's getting burned. Give it a light liquid feeding once a month during the growing season. The primary plant tends to die off after flowering, but will be replaced by the offshoots.

Tillandsia cyanea is the one of the fast growing plant. When you allow the optimum temparature and good mannure the gowth rate is higher.

These plants need bright indirect light and warm temperatures. Keep soil moist and fertilize weekly. Spray leaves several times weekly and do not soak the plant base.

Give this plant a bright location, but not direct sun which can "burn" the foliage. It likes fertilizer rich in potassium and nitrogen, fertilize by adding to water. When watering, let dry out between irrigations. Tillandsia likes a soft, not packed, well drained soil, don't let it get soggy!
