If bulbs are too close, they are easily transplanted. If it's a double bulb, take a knife, wipe it with alcohol to minimize contamination and split the two halves.

Tiger lilies should be divided in the fall. Wait until the foliage has died back completely before digging. Separate the bulbs if necessary with a sharp shovel or knife.

You have to give very careful attention to these plants as they have a tendency to grow and then the flower which is bright orange color but be watchful on the buds once they die they tend to turn brown and spoil the look of other tiger lilies around them , constant grooming by cutting off the dead buds help.
