Turn of the breaker to the area that you will be working in. Remove socket from wall, disconnect wires, remembering where they came from. Place wires into new socket the same as they were in old socket. Replace socket to wall. turn back on breaker. Plug something low power into wall to test.

Find out using a tester which wire is phase (the tester will glow} and switch off the main. Place the phase and neutral wire in the two terminals and earth wire in the centre terminal of the plug. Switch on the main.

To change the plug make sure you have the right type of plug to replace the one you're taking (two or three prongs, or special head like air conditioners, etc. ). Cut the cord and use wire strippers to peel off some of the plastic casing. Connect the wires in the cord to the new plug and seal with electrical tape.

First u have to remove the two wires and then in the same arrangement u have to place two separate wires one of ground and the other of phase.
