You will have to apply to jobs seeking a welder. Your local newspaper is a good place to start. You might want to try to advertise yourself as a welder looking for work in your paper. Your local emploment agency may have some helpful hints or ideas to help you get work.

Assuming that you have the technical training that is required for numerous welding jobs, seek out businesses that do railing work and work on repairing large items like farm equipment.

You should have some experience. Entry-level welding positions are rare because it is a job that requires skill. You can start an apprenticeship under a skilled welder first.

There are a few ways: look in the want ads for private companies that are hiring, join the welder's union, or the best way is probably by starting your own welding business.
