Vine weed or bind weed as it is called is hard to eliminate. It can grow on almost any surface. 24D is a good weed killer, that will kill bind weed but also kills everything else. If you have the time, try pulling the weeds wherever you see it, and make sure to clean your mower as it spreads easily.

These are difficult weeds to control. Because they grow with multiple root systems, and if you do not kill or dig out every single one the weed will grow back quickly. I recommend covering the entire lawn with a weed control repeating every week till the weed is gone

To get rid of any weed you need to get down below the surface of the soil and kill it by the root. Killing of ripping the weed out only works so well if you don't destroy the root in the soil. A weed grows around plant life so it can steal the plant's nutrients and water.

I'm not successful in finding "vine weed", but I can figure your problem, an invasive weed that seems thatched in. You need to find the root source, root it out.

They are nasty and horrible to get rid of. You should pull up as many as you can. I understand that there is a weed killer you can use.
