Flying foxes and otocinclus should do the trick. Or you could try a med called Maracyn. Or starve the algae by doing frequent partial water changes to remove the dissolved organics and limiting the tank light to 8 hours or just leave the light off for a while. Do not use any chemicals that are phosphate based either.

Reducing amount of light it receives is recommended. Change about 20% of water daily until condition improves; this also will reduce amount of nutrients and starve the algae. Algae-eating fish and snails will help prevent most algae but will not solve the whole problem. Replace filter if needed. There are remedies you can purchase to help also.

Remove all decorations, (rocks, artificial plants, etc. ), and soak them in bleach overnight. If you don't want to use bleach, just air them out for 24 hours.

Always take care of the Aquarium with keen interests. Such that changing the water each and every day so that fungus and algae do not be deposited inside the surface of the Aquarium. Mostly the green algae may be developed in the water it may be a food for the fishes. Necessary light should be used for the Acquarium.

The first thing to do to get rid of black algae is to clean the tank well. Scrub the walls of the tank with a sponge made for catching algae, clean the rocks and tank decorations, and do a partial water change. Check the water balance after a few days, especially for nitrates.
