Ants can be removed by sprinkling small quantities of ant poison into a flat container where the ants congregate. They will collect thhe poison and return to the nest.

There are many ways to get rid of ants in a veggie garden. The most nontoxic way to accomplish this is to spread coffee grounds in the area to deter the ants. You can also buy some orange oil and spread that throughout the general area as well to prevent the ants from returning.

A natural chemical free way is to sprinkle cayenne pepper between the plants. In some areas a mixture of peppermint oil and water works miracles
