There are very many methods out there to get rid of this certain stain. The best method i found was to treat it quickly and thourghly with dawn dish detergent.

Run cold water through the back of the stain. Next, work some liquid detergent into the stain. Rub it in in a circular motion. Rinse, repeat, and then wash the garment as you normally would. A little stain remover (such as a stain removal stick or specialty product for stains) will also help in the last step.

One thing that I like to do is treat the stain right away with soda water. This will help lift the stain immediately. After that, I soak the stain with a cleaner like Shout or something like that before I put it in the washing machine. Finally, I put it in the washer to get the stain out.

Remove any ketchup that may be on the shirt, then put some dish detergent on the stain and wash the shirt. If the shirt is light colored, use some bleach in the wash. If the stain remains, soak the shirt in two gallons of water with two tablespoons of bleach.

You should try and take a little liquid laundry soap and scrub the area with it before throwing it in the wash. That usually removes stains.

Use tide on the go marker to remove the stain. First you go buy the tide to go marker, than you apply the tide to go marker on the shirt. After wash the shirt on hot water with detergent, and dry, and the ketchup stain should be gone.

I had that problem before, and some one told me that if you drop some milk on the stain and leave it there for a while, the stain will get soft and then you could wash it as usually, I took a cup with some milk and soaked it. It worked!
