Ouch! Make sure you have removed all of the lotion with cool water but do not rub the area. After that the best thing to do is leave it alone.

One form of relief is to soak in an oatmeal powder bath. This help sooths the skin. After your bath, lather yourself in aloe-vera gel. Be sure to use the non-mentholated kind, because the mentholated aloe may sting.

Washing the area right away under running cool water would relieve it a bit, try to clean the area to get rid of the remaining chemicals.

You can try to apply some ice packs or ice to the burn area. It will help to reduce the inflammation and reduce/ minimise the pain. Also keep the area opened to dry air and avoid bandaging it.
