How do I get my two year old daughter potty trained?

I think most children potty train closer to three than two although I know its tempting to start earlier. If she is showing resistance now, back off for a few months and then try again.

they must be ready, meaning able to control, which sometimes doesn't happen until 3 or 4 years old. Pull ups are helpful, do not scold or swat for accidents!

You are going to have to put a lot of time and patience with this. Reward her when she goes on the potty. Encourage her good behavior.

I would use a reward system when she uses the potty. Make a chart and have one side for pee-pee and one side for pooh-pooh. When the chart is all filled than reward her with a toy of her choice. This worked for my daughter.
