Its most likely because your the new guy and they will respect you more in time, but I would recomment working hard and being confindent in your work. Also don't take crap from people. You dont deserve their harassment. If you don't stand up for yourself no one else will.

Keep working hard and being kind and courteous to your coworkers. A lot of workplaces treat their employees poorly at first - it's sort of a rite of passage. But, just keep on going with a smile, and before you know it, you'll be one of the gang and won't be treated poorly anymore.

The best way to get respect is to give it. Do your job and do it well and eventually there will be someone else who is new.

Being the new guy can be very challenging. The best way to be respected is to earn it. Do your job well, make an effort to get to know everyone, and try your hardest to let things go. After a while they will notice that they have no reason to disrespect you.

Try to show your employees that you are dedicated to your job through actions, rather than words. If they see you helping out others, staying late when needed, and putting in extra effort, you will gain respect quickly. Always be friendly and smile.
