In order to obtain consent for adoption you should have both the mother and father sign a consent form. You can get the forms from hospitals, doctors offices and lawyers offices. Once it is filled you must present the papers to family court. It is best that you obtain a family lawyer to handle this procedure for yhou.

You have to start with your state laws. In our state we contact our local social service office and they will have a family or person complete a class on parenting and inspect the home to determine the home enviroment. The process usually takes 1-3 months.

I am not truly sure how to get consent through adoption. I am sure there are answers to this question at your pediatricians office or doctors office. That would be a reliable source.
