Take a pair of needle nose pliers and a small flat head screwdriver. You must remove the radio from the dash first. Then remove the outside of case to get down to the tape. Then you can lift out with a small screwdriver, but watch out for the side rails that guide the tape in and out.

The easiest way to get a stuck cassette out of a car radio is to remove the entire radio unit. This would be needed if you want to save the cassette. Disconnect the battery first! Pry off the small panel around the radio unit, then unscrew the radio bolts.

The best way to get it out is to remove the stereo and dissemble it to remove the cassette. Other wise you risk messing up your radio.

Retrieve a pair of needle nose pliers along with a small flat head screwdriver. Wedge the screwdriver under the bottom of the tape while simultaneously pulling with the pliers.
