Start by getting a fresh hair cut and purchasing a do rag and some hair lotion. Apply the lotion generously to your hair, and using a coarse brush, work the waves into your hair. Keep it up by protecting it with covering overnight.

You should be able to walk into any salon tell them thats what you want and they should be able to give it to you.
