Vibration in the steering wheel can be from multiple things. The most likely would be out of round brake rotors. This can only be fixed by taking it to a garage and having them turned down to be flat again. The other option is an unbalanced front tire. Any garage will be able to find the specific problem easily.

The steering wheel is not causing the viberation -its something in the front end. Could be as simple as balancing the wheels to as much as wheel bearings. You need to have the front end looked at by a mechanic and replace what is loose or worn out- then that will stop the steering wheel from shaking.

Check the inflation on your tires, they may be the reason. Also check your front suspension, idler arms. These may need to be replaced.

Well if the vibration occurs only under braking then you need to check your brakes. They are probably warped. Otherwise inspect the steering and suspension making sure everything is tight. If the checks out then you may need to have your tires balanced and the alignment checked.

Steering wheel vibration can be caused by faulty front tires, wore or damaged steering components. A close inspection of each component is needed to determine the cause.
