How do I fix an ECU problem on my car?

It very much depends on the problem you have, much can't be fixed in the ECU as it requires technical tools and a laptop to modify its programming.

Take the ecu out and get some small solder. Use a solder iron and solder the thin wire strip together on the ecu. Be sure to make a good solder where the two wires can be connected for a closed circut.

Well depending on what the problem is you probably can't do a whole lot to fix it. The ECU is the main computer that controls the engine and if ti has a probably it usually requires a trained technician to fix it. You need a factory tool, hand-held programmer, or laptop in some case to modify the programming.

You will need to take it in to a professional. They can fix the problem. Have it checked out though. The professional will know how to fix it. So take it in.
