To fix a kitchen sink pipe, take two pipe wrenches, a bucket, and the replacements for these parts. Shut off water to the sink. (usually in back of cabinet) Place bucket under pipe. Remove sink pipe using wrenches, and replace using new pipes. Be sure to turn on water and test to make sure you have no leaks.

You can find tons of help at your major home improvement stores. If you don't have one of those big stores, I've gotten lots of help from the "local" guys.

If the pipe is leaking and not turning off properly or perhaps not turning off at all, then the washer needs to be replaced.

Check where the leak is coming from. Turn off the water and tape or reseal with plumbers glue. Turn the water back and check for leaks. Repeat if necessary.

To fix a kitchen sink pipe all depends on what exactly is wrong with it. If it is leaking it may simply need a new fitting or if more serious you may need to call a plumber.
