How do I fix a faucet that leaks when it is turned off?

Change the valve of the faucet after opening the same and replacing the new valve in place of the old one and the problem would be solved.

First turn off the water supply. Take the handle apart with a screwdriver. The main item to be replaced is the rubber gasket.

You might have to put a new washer on the faucet. That maybe causing the leak. I hope this helps you out with your problem, best of luck to you.
